The brake fluid should be replaced at least every two years or if the fluid is approaching the wet boiling point!
Notes on use: Clean test tip with water after use
The absorption of water (hygroscopy) lowers the boiling point of the brake fluid. Long braking operations may cause steam bubbles to form and could result in failure of the braking effect. The most accurate way to monitor the boiling point of the brake fluid is to use our boiling point tester. The brake fluid should be changed if the boiling point is below the recommended minimum temperature.
